We all still miss you. Forever. You have inspired me so much and I feel your with me when I think of you. The races have never been the same. Sport needs people like you, Ali, Tyson, Fangio, Woods. Senna.

I was never a sports fan, let alone F1 fan. But when I met my addicted to F1 (ex) husband in 1987, I started watching the races with him. And Ayrton Senna stole my heart from the first second I saw him.

Yesterday it was my birthday, 19th of March 2008. Ayrton Senna's birthday would have been tomorrow, 21th of March. He was born in the same year I was born in: 1960.

He would have been 48 tomorrow, just like me.

I admired him, not only as an F1 driver, but also as the man he was. (At least, the man I saw in interviews, news articles etc.) He was special and will always be special to me.

I remember my feelings on that awful day, 1st of May, when I saw him crash into that wall.

I could not believe that he had died.

And even on this day I feel tears in my eyes remembering his tragical death.

I am sure though that Ayrton Senna has lived his life to the fullest, he has given ALL of himself.

And I still admire him for that. He was definitely the greatest!

I have never been able to watch an other F1 race again since 1 May 1994.

Ayrton, I still miss you. after your death I never watched a single race. It's not the same without you. The whole formula 1 doesn't interest me anymore.

Lo has conseguido.
Obrigado, Ayrton. Muita Saudade da Voce
